MOPA at MIFA 2025: An Immersion into the Animation Industry
A Window into the Professional World
The fifth-year students of our animation film school walked through the aisles of MIFA in Annecy with a clear goal: to immerse themselves in the realities of the industry, engage with studios, and refine their understanding of the profession. Between conferences, technological demonstrations, and professional meetings, each day brought its share of new discoveries.
« Attending the Annecy Festival is a dream for anyone studying 3D Animation. We get access to numerous screenings, premieres, conferences, and behind-the-scenes sessions. There are plenty of stories about how projects are developed — it’s truly fascinating. »

Building Connections and Expanding One’s Network
Throughout the event, students had the chance to interact with studios, directors, animators, and producers from around the world. They were able to present their artistic approach, showcase their demo reels, and gain insight into the market’s expectations — a unique opportunity to build a strong professional network for their future careers.
During the festival, MoPA organizes a private job dating session for its students. This gives them exclusive access to numerous recruiters from across the globe, allowing them to seize internship and job opportunities.
« Everyone is very approachable; professionals give us advice and share their industry knowledge to help us break into the field.»
