History

25 years of expertise in animation

Established for more than 25 years in Arles, the MoPA School of Animation has become a real point of reference in the animation industry.

MoPA’s history is linked to that of the Supinfocom school, founded in Valenciennes in 1988. It was the first French school entirely dedicated to computer-generated images. In 2000, it opened a campus in the city of Arles.

In just a few years, the Supinfocom Arles school joined its sister school’s notoriety by winning its first international prizes.

Since then, the school has trained over 600 top professionals worldwide and the list of prestigious awards has continued to grow. The animation training program is acclaimed by professional studios from all over the world who attend the final year jury.

In 2015, Supinfocom Arles became the MoPA School of Animation. A new name that marks the development of a pedagogical project and its ability to exist independently.

In 2020, MoPA joined the EDH Group, the French leader in higher education in the fields of communication, artistic and cultural management, cinema, journalism, graphic design and 3D animation, advertising creation, architecture, fashion and web development.
