A Comprehensive Film Training Program to Become a 3D Animator
MoPA’s 3D animator training program spans five years and covers every stage of animated film production, from script development to post-production. The program emphasizes hands-on practice, collaboration, and mastery of professional tools used in studios worldwide.
From the very first years, you’ll learn the fundamentals of drawing, visual storytelling, composition, and traditional animation. You will then advance to 3D modeling, rigging, lighting, compositing, and, of course, character animation—the core skill of a 3D character animator.
Students regularly work on group projects and short films supervised by industry professionals, in environments that closely simulate real studio conditions. These practical experiences help them build a strong showreel, an essential portfolio to launch their future careers in 3D animation.
